The Bluefish (Pomatomus Saltatrics)

The most aggressive predator from the Black Sea is a fish that lies in small reefs, up to 30 specimens, which can be easily caught by boat between 15 august - 1 october.
Fishing equipment needed for cathcing the bluefish:

• high action longline rod;
• 0.40mm thick transparent wire;
• 100-180g special forms heavy spoon lure

Can be catched near the Casino northern pier adn by boat at the entrance of Constanta’s Habor and the small bluefish can be catched on all piers, with 5 big hooks with white flakes and 0.33mm wire.

The sea can provide the following fish species:

• Mullets and Laban
• Plaice and turbot
• Horse mackerel
• Bluefish
• Shark
• Bullhead and Hanus
